For PC:

Step 1: Right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose "Properties" (you may need to minimize all your currently open programs to see the desktop)

Step 2: Click the "Settings" tab in the Display Properties window

Step 3: Your current screen resolution is shown (see red arrow below)

For Mac:

Step 1: Click on the Apple icon and choose "System Preferences"

Step 2: Double click "Displays" in the System Preferences window

Step 3: You will find your current screen resolution highlighted in grey. (see red arrow below)
