The challenge for me was in the 2nd half of this shoot with the “runway” fashion show. The shoot took place on the 4th floor of my building which has no electrical or lighting installed anywhere, so I had to figure out a way to light it. To make a long story short, I spent an entire day building a lighting rig I designed using 2×4’s and standard spot lights found at any hardware store. In the end it all came together but I was running at full speed for 14 hours straight.
It wouldn’t have come together without so many people jumping in and helping so I want to say a special thank you to all who joined in making this shoot possible. You are all awesome!

May Fashion Shoot – Part 1
May 6th, 2010 by John under Modeling, PhotoshootsLast week I was invited once again to shoot with Natasha and her killer team of professionals at TreAvanti. Angela Bergsma rocked the camera like a pro and was pampered up by Erin Brown (hair) and Julie Strating (Makeup). This is part 1 of 3 shoots to complete a series of shoots planned for May. The 2nd will be a corporate shoot, and the 3rd a runway fashion shoot.
In addition to the photography we are also working on a behind the scenes video of the shoot and hope to have that posted in late May so be sure to check back to see the everyone in action for these shoots!

Into the Woods

A family friendly “must see” production. It opened last week and is playing tonight through Sunday this week so get your tickets soon and prepare to laugh and be entertained by this fantastic musical.
