I am so excited about this trailer. It took a lot longer than normal to create primarily because of an exciting new element … CUSTOM MUSIC! I’ve been collaborating with my friend Andy Ferris on various commercial video projects now for quite a while, and when I approached Andy with the idea of writing something for a wedding trailer, he jumped at the opportunity. Over the last few months we’ve been working together on a musical score … and after a few changes in direction, we landed on on this exciting piece of music. The music was written entirly by Andy Ferris, and I helped direct and produce it during the process.

One interesting element in the music is that it features actual strings and not just synthesized strings from a keyboard. Andy recorded live violin performances to bring this song to life. It was a night and day difference from the rough draft which had the synthesized strings.

So it is with great excitement that I post this trailer today. If you’ve been following my blog you already know about the “first dance” video I posted, as well as the behind the scenes look at our camera crew on this wedding. If not then click the links in the last sentence and check it out. : )
